    The inauguration of SPUP Entrepreneurship & Employment Center (SPUP-EEC) was held on March 14, 2024. Leading the opening ceremonies was Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President), together with the administrative team of the university. In her welcome message, Sr. Merceditas explained that the SPUP-EEc supports the development of entrepreneurial skills and fosters employment opportunities for students in the University. Accordingly, the center serves as a hub for resources, training, and networking opportunities for students to start their own businesses or find employment. She also thanked SPUP Media-Partners and the members of the Tuguegarao City Chamber of Commerce for their support to the EEC project.

The inaugural ERASMUS+ Regional Cluster meeting and contact-making seminar, held in Hanoi, Vietnam on November 29-30, 2023, brought together over 200 participants from 41 countries.
  • The PATHWAY Philippine Entrepreneurial Framework Task Force

    Dr. Sergel Dacut of the LPU-Batangas, during the 13th Virtual Coordination Meeting, relayed that the PATHWAY university partners will be implementing the Philippine Entrepreneurial Framework once it is finalized. The results of the implementation will then be used by CHED in recommending the framework to other universities in the Philippines.

    Philippine President Marcos has signed the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act on September 27, 2023. The Act aims to stimulate national and local economic growth, enhance industry collaboration, and provide support to workers and businesses. The measure is also geared towards employment generation and job quality improvement in order to address the recovery of the labor market after the Covid-19 pandemic.
