About AdMU

The Ateneo education draws from the Jesuit tradition of faith and justice, character formation, openness and discernment, which provides a foundation for technical competence, leadership and a deep commitment to global human development.

The university academic offerings cover a broad range of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences and the pure and applied sciences, which are predominantly taught in the English language. Ateneo de Manila largely follows the August to May academic calendar.

Over the last 150 years, the Ateneo has played a significant part in shaping the nation’s history through the work of notable alumni such as Philippine National Hero Jose Rizal and four Philippine Presidents. Among its graduates are distinctive professionals, entrepreneurs, scientists, political leaders, activists and artists, who have contributed to the work of building the nation.

Loyola Schools - Office of Placement and Career Services

The Loyola Schools Office of Placement and Career Services, or LSOPCS, is committed to assist graduates find employment appropriate to their individuality through various Career Development Programs and networking with the four market sectors. Services such as career consultations, company presentations, networking events, resume writing, job/internship assistance, and interview preparation, among others are available to students and alumni. Job search tools and other resources are also available to assist undergraduates, recent graduates, and alumni in their career development. The LSOPCS likewise conducts various researches to get useful information that will help assess and enhance the career preparedness and employability of Ateneo graduates.

Business Resource Center

The Ateneo Business Resource Center (BRC) is a university-based learning resource that encourages and supports entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship. Initially, the Ateneo BRC was meant to serve the small- and medium- sized enterprise (SME) community. However, through the years, it has also begun serving even large enterprises.

It is through Training and Outreach, Business Acceleration, Consulting and Business Coaching, and Market Research that the aim of BRC for the community is pursued. Ultimately, the Ateneo BRC provides capacity building through academic knowledge and actual training that is supported by the vast Ateneo network and the Jesuit community.
