Winners of the Hackathons conducted by the Pathway partner universities attended various conferences in Europe as part of their rewards.

Rhainne Cshyra Dimatatac and Ma. Gloria Isabel Pechay from the Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas and Marielle Julia T. Juat, Hazel Cherry Tabirao, and Reniel Bryan M. De Lumban of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines attended the Compass Tech Summit 2023 held on October 5-6, 2023 at Budapest, Hungary. The summit was an inclusive and professional conference about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data, User Experience, User Interface, Product Management, and Engineering Leadership, presenting which tools, methods, and practices should be part of the toolbox of a modern developer and company.

On October 26-27, 2023 Nathan Villegas and Nicole Arcenas from the Ateneo de Manila University with Shaynnah Quilang and Serafin Gazzingan of Saint Paul University of the Philippines attended the Valencia Digital Summit in Valencia, Spain. The summit aimed to address the major social challenges faced by society and explore the pivotal role of technology and innovation in shaping a brighter future.

SPUP and AdMU students

The AdMU and SPUP students were followed by Kim Jo A. Omolida and Jeremy Ablao with their Entrep Coach Jeftee Pinos-an of Benguet State University who attended the Slush 2023 Event in Helsinki, Finland. Slush is a student-driven, not-for-profit movement on a mission to create and help the next generation of groundbreaking entrepreneurs, originally founded to change attitudes toward entrepreneurship. The Slush 2023 event features two days full of stage programs in addition to over 300 Side Events, mentoring, meetings, and afterparties. The speaker line-up includes successful founders, world-class investors, and other startup and tech influencers.
