Dr. Sergel Dacut of the LPU-Batangas, during the 13th Virtual Coordination Meeting, relayed that the PATHWAY university partners will be implementing the Philippine Entrepreneurial Framework once it is finalized. The results of the implementation will then be used by CHED in recommending the framework to other universities in the Philippines.

This development is one of the outcomes of the final meeting of the framework task force held on November 30- December 1, 2023 at the St. Paul University Philippines in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The Philippine Entrepreneurial Framework is one of the expected outputs of the PATHWAY project.  It contains proposed entrepreneurial competencies in General Education Courses, Entrepreneurial Management Course, and the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship Program. The task force also made recommendations that highlight the importance of developing entrepreneurial competencies, as well as some practical suggestions on how an innovative Philippine Entrepreneurial Framework could be implemented.

The development of the framework began with an analysis of the situation of entrepreneurship and employability by the PATHWAY entrepreneurship task force. Results of this analysis was presented during the World of Work Café held on October 14, 2022 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Manila. A series of virtual and face-to-face task force meetings were done to come up with the current framework.
